Recycle your computer

recycle, computer recycle, TV recycle, environment, ecology In Olympia, Washington DC, an E-Cycle even took place. This enormous act was about recycle of millions pounds (around 39) of electronic devices like TV sets, monitors and computers.

The E-Cycle operation, regulated by the State Department of Ecology, started off on the 1st of January 2009 and was considered the first biggest within the state collection of out-of-work televisions, monitors, laptops and many other gadgets. The event was supported by manufacturers of electronic devices.

The first year of the program was efficient as almost 4 million pounds of computers, 22.2 million pounds of TVs and 12.3 pounds of monitors were recycled.

However, this huge recycling is quite harmful for the environment, because all these e-gadgets contain hazardous chemical substances
