Healthy lifestyle depends on your activities

First of all, healthy way of living affects our mood. You may have noticed that after doing some physical exercises you feel cheerful and full of energy. It happens because such chemical substances as endorphins flow to our blood and promote a feeling of well-being and also raise our mood (endorphins are also called the hormones of happiness). So sports is always worth doing, especially nowadays when the ecological situation is not satisfying. With each breath harmful air particles get into our body and therefore in our blood. When we do sports the blood circulation increases and our cells get more oxygen. And besides that, when the blood flow increases, all these harmful particles get washed out of the blood faster.

It’s not hard to exercise. There are scores of sports facilities at your disposal. You can jog or ride your bicycle, ski or skate in winter, play basketball or swim – it’s up to you! We are sick of ecology!

You certainly know why people leave their cities for some health centers settled in places with clean environment, pure water, and healthy air. It’s no wonder that living in cities and megalopolises we expose our health to various diseases caused by bad ecology. We are more likely to catch some illness then people living somewhere in the country, away from plants and streams of cars.

One of the health problems is intolerant reactions to foods and drinks. Doctors are still not sure whether these reactions can be called allergies, but the symptoms are very much alike. They call it ecological illness that caused by chemical or food sensitivity.

Doctors are not sure about the causes of the Ecological illness either. A few ecologically sick people were interviewed and they suppose the causes might be: fast foods, artificially-preserved foods, pre-packed and frozen foods; various drugs and medication taken daily and of course pollution of the environment with such harmful chemicals as fertilizers, hydrocarbons and insecticides.

How air pollution damages your health

Air pollution is an enormous topic to talk about. I want just to mention some of the most important issues which affect our health.

The Earth is becoming dirtier and dirtier day by day. Undoubtedly, one of the most evident causes is air pollution. Air pollution is chemical, physical (e.g. particulate matter), or biological agent that modifies the natural characteristics of the atmosphere. Industrialization is also on the list. There is a great number of factories, plants that throw million tonnes of poison substances into the atmosphere. Pollution sources include chemical plants, oil refineries, petrochemical plants, nuclear waste disposal activity, incinerators and other heavy industry. Adverse air quality can kill a lot of organisms including humans. Ozone pollution can cause respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, throat inflammation, chest pain and congestion. Water pollution causes approximately 14,000 deaths per day, mostly due to contamination of drinking water by untreated sewage in developing countries. Oil spills can cause skin irritations and rashes. Noise pollution induces hearing loss, high blood pressure, stress and sleep disturbance.

Heavy air pollution can be damaging even to the most healthy of people. Mexico City, the largest city in the world, has major air pollution problems. It is said that just breathing the air each day is like smoking more than a pack of cigarettes. If the pollution is heavy enough, serious health problems, including cancer, can result from the toxins constantly breathed in through the air.

Doctors warn that harmful chemical substances get into our lungs with every breath we take and accumulate there. Also doctors are advising to keep a healthy life-style; in that case your health will be stronger and the immunity steadier against different dangerous diseases. Generally speaking your organism will be less endangered to them.
